Homespun by Sharon

I am a spinner and have been spinning since my teens.  The yarn I produce is mainly 8 ply and with this yarn I knit, crochet and weave the scarves. I source wool from a variety of Australian suppliers who source Australian fibres and complete the dying and blending of fibres.

I use the following wools:

 - Merino

- Merino / 20% silk

- Merino / alpaca / silk

- Polwarth / silk 

- Polwarth 

All of which are beautifully soft.

The scarves are all unique as is each ball of wool I produce. Thanks to the wonderful dye options from mainly First Edition Fibres and Yarns in Victoria

I live on 20 acres at Mount Barker Springs and have what I call a  'craft house' as my house is both home and studio combined.
