Suncraft Shades has been in operation since 1960. John and Janet Sutton wanted to retire in 2000 and sold to Harry and Michele Bryant, who have been operating from Birdwood South Australia ever since. We have added a few lampshade designs in that time but continue to make the classic designs as well. Ten years ago, we added fitted sheets to our repertoire. These are custom-made for caravan and electric beds.

 

In the last three years we have been attending local markets with our latest additions, padded ironing board covers, hanging kitchen hand towels, pot holders and oven mitts, reusable PUL fabric zipped bags, microwave bowl cosies, scrubs caps and gators (boot covers to keep grass seeds out of your socks). We were also making cloth facemasks during the height of the pandemic. We are always busy making our goods but love to get out and meet our customers in person.
